I am Qasim Zia, a Ph.D. graduate student advised by Dr. Yingshu Li in the Department of Computer Science at Georgia State University.
My research interests include Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Data Mining, Federated Learning, VANET, Robotics, Algorithms, Bioinformatics, Digital Twin Network, Privacy, and Software Engineering. Currently, I am focused on developing ML/AI techniques and their application in everyday life.
I am dedicated to pursuing innovative and practical solutions in my field. I believe that diligence, determination, and a clear focus are crucial for long-term success.
I hold a Master’s Degree in Computer Science from Georgia State University, Atlanta (2022-2024) and a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology from Punjab University College of Information Technology, Lahore. I also have over 1 year of experience in the Software/IT Industry, including roles as a Junior Software Engineer at Virtual Force on Tech, Lahore, and an Assistant Professor at the Higher Education Department, Lahore. Additionally, I have completed various certifications in Computer Graphics Design, Freelancing, and Networking from reputable organizations.
